Dillsboro was founded after the coming of the Western
North Carolina Railway in 1882 and remains a rail town today. It
is home to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad which offers a variety
of scenic and dining excursions.
Olde Towne Inn is located in downtown Dillsboro, an
easy stroll to shopping, dining, and railroad. We are close to many
area attractions including the Great Smoky Mountains National Park,
Cherokee and Biltmore, and is convenient to Western Carolina University.
